Unlike most, college did not exactly fill me with a sense of hope or a determination to help the world. If anything it made me more pessimistic and as a result, apathetic. Especially after the passing of prop 8, I found myself observing the democratic process doing direct damage more than positive change. Thanks to the help of my roommates I am starting to regain the sentiments of my more progressive past. Please join me in actually making a difference by voting in the upcoming election.
